Description:
On 8.3.2017.Wau. SPLA-IO forces attacked Wau approximately 25 km northwest of Ayod and 20 km south of Mogok, Jonglei in an attempt to recapture it from the SPLA. The attempt was reported to be unsuccessful. As of 9 Mar 17, the SPLA-IO forces are holding the area north of Wau and SPLA forces are in Wau and Kuachdeng.
