Description:
On 19 February 2015. Fight broke out between two traders and their supporters as a result of misunderstanding over business matters in Bentiu PoC. The supporters were about 200 in numbers and were armed with spears, machetes and sticks. An integrated response team made up of UNPOL/FPU/UNMISS Military responded to the scene and the group fled. The group initially confronted the integrated response team and hit one member with a stone. Warning shots fired by the integrated team forced the group to flee outside the PoC. One person was injured and is receiving treatment at MSF clinic.
