INGO staff harassed by armed men

According to reports, a group of five armed men claiming to be CID officers entered the offices of an INGO in Hai Malakal. Upon entering the compound's premises, they proceeded to harass and threaten the INGO staff. The armed men looked through the registrations of vehicles and other assets that were being loaded onto a contracted truck destined for field locations. The staff and managers were also reportedly questioned in an aggressive and intimidating manner. After thirty minutes, the armed men left the compound without taking anything or injuring anyone. An hour later, another group of armed men arrived to extort money under the pretext of issuing security clearances for the assets to be transported.
