11th of August 2016. According to reports, there was a civil disturbance in Aweil town due to grievances over a food distribution that was said to be targeting particular vulnerable populations. An undetermined amount of food was said to be taken by civilians after a breakdown in the protection of the food assets. No injuries were reported.
