Description:
On 29.4.2017. Bentiu, a group of youth armed with sticks, stones and machetes were seen trying to breach the berm and enter the PoC site. UN PKF was dispatched to prevent them from entering. Verbal warnings were given and eventually one warning shot was fired when the youth were about to forcibly enter the PoC. Nine youths were detained and handed over to UN Police.
