2 incidents of INGO staff being stopped by local traffic police

On 15.3.2017.Juba. 2 incidents of INGO staff being stopped by local traffic police for alleged traffic offences; one on Ministry Road (at 1500) and one at the airport (at 1615). In both incidents the matter was resolved with UNDSS assistance and no further action was taken by the police.

5 WFP staff were stopped and the drivers got arrested at a check point

On 10.3.2017. Rumbek. 5 WFP vehicles travelling to Wau were stopped and the drivers arrested at a checkpoint. Later the vehicles were taken to the local police HQ. After negotiation the drivers were released but the vehicles are still under police custody for unknown reasons.
