Male IDP breached the PoC site premeter with a spear

On 28.2.2017.Bentiu.At about 1115 in Bentiu, one male IDP with a spear breached the PoC site perimeter fence. UNMISS reacted and apprehended the offender, but one UN PKF member was injured in the process with the spear. The IDP was detained.

Water truck hit and killed a child in PoC

On 3.3.2017.At about 0700 in Juba, a water delivery truck accidentally hit and killed a local child in PoC 1 while reversing. The driver was physically assaulted by the IDPs residing at the PoC.

2 SPLA vehicles mounted wit machine guns went to the PoC site in Wau

Sep 26: According to reports, at about 05:00 hours in Wau, two SPLA pickup vehicles with soldiers and mounted with machine guns went to the PoC area adjacent to the UNMISS-compound. As they left the area, they fired two gunshots in the air causing panic among the IDPs in the PoC site.

A male IDP was assaulted by six unknown adult male

On 23.9.2016: Bentiu. A male IDP was assaulted by six unknown adult male IDPs residing at the POC site. The victim was stabbed with a spear and was referred to the IOM clinic for medical treatment. He is said to be stable.

On 16.9.2016.Juba. Two SPLA soldiers being temporarily detained and assaulted by IDPs after entering PoC3 at an undetermined time the day before. UNPOL reportedly managed to retrieve the two men who were later treated at an UNMISS clinic.
