On 22.4.2017.Bentiu. UN Police and FPU personnel detained a male IDP for threatening people with a spear in the PoC. While being detained, the IDP bit the finger of one of the UN Police Officers. He was detained and taken to the holding facility.

On 08.4.2017. Awerial.WFP contracted truck drivers who parked their vehicles about 100 meters from the WFP Compound, were robbed by armed men, some wearing police uniform. Cash, clothing, personal documents and telephones were stolen, the drivers were unharmed and no cargo was stolen.

On 08.4.2017.Juba. A fire occurred in PoC 3; the fire was caused by an overheating generator in a shop. On arrival at the scene, UNMISS fire unit extinguished the fire. One IDP received minor burns and a number of structures were destroyed.

56 year old female was found dead with gunshot wounds about 1600m northwest from UNMISS base.

On 17.3.2017.Bentiu. A 56 year old female was found dead with gunshot wounds about 1600m northwest from UNMISS base. UNMISS provided force protection to medical staff in order to recover the body to the Bentiu site hospital.

On 9.3.2017.Bentiu. An adult male IDP was apprehended by UNPOL patrol team for stealing wire mesh near the buffer zone. The suspect was escorted to a holding facility for further investigation and the stolen item was recovered.
