Male IDP breached the PoC site premeter with a spear

On 28.2.2017.Bentiu.At about 1115 in Bentiu, one male IDP with a spear breached the PoC site perimeter fence. UNMISS reacted and apprehended the offender, but one UN PKF member was injured in the process with the spear. The IDP was detained.

Water truck hit and killed a child in PoC

On 3.3.2017.At about 0700 in Juba, a water delivery truck accidentally hit and killed a local child in PoC 1 while reversing. The driver was physically assaulted by the IDPs residing at the PoC.
