On 22.9.2016. Renk.An unknown armed group fired RPGs and mortars from the area of Jabiaha on the west bank of the White Nile River towards El Galhak. This area is about 80km south of Renk. The cause and effect is not yet known.

A church in Yei sheltering displaced persons was attacked by unknown gunmen

On 22.9.2016.Yei.A church in Yei, location still to be determined, that was sheltering civilians was attacked by an unknown group and burnt down. Those sheltering in the church fled to the bush and many are currently missing or unable to be contacted.

Tugs broke into a compound in Tongping

On 18.9.2016. A residential compound being broken into at around 05:30hrs in the Tomping area by an unknown number of assailants. A panic button was pressed which resulted in a response by the SSPS and private security services. One perpetrator was apprehended.
