On 30.8.2016: Leer. Two men and a child were killed during a cattle raid in Putwot village in Bwon payam of Leer town. Said reports suggest that the cattle raiders came from Mayendit County.
On 29.8.2016. At least 13 people have been killed and/or wounded by unknown gunmen in Madoj village of Renk county. The victims include a pregnant woman. This follows reports of at least 7 civilians being killed in Shamidi village.
On 30.8.2016. Nimule. 3 vehicle convoy -including SSPS and NSS officers- were ambushed along the Juba- Nimule road (approx. 70kms out of Juba) between 16:00 and 17:00hrs. The identity of the perpetrators is unknown. Unconfirmed reports state that 2 people were killed.
