On 5.8.2016. Raja: The Parish priest of Catholic Church in Raga town of Lole state, Fr. Richard Batista Engliz, said up to 2,500 people have sheltered at the church’s buildings in Raga town, as a result of the last Friday’s fighting within the town, between government forces and an armed group affiliated to members of SPLM-IO. “Yes, we have 2,500 people who are are now sheltered at schools of the Comboni girls and boys secondary schools. The humanitarian situation is worsening in many parts of Raga town,” Fr. Engliz told Gurtong on Thursday.
