Mr. Taban Julius Duku joined CEPO in 2009 as volunteer and later became the first M&E Officer who worked with a consultant hired by Adam Smith International, in developing CEPO, Monitoring and Evaluation, Learning Cycle document for the Organization from 2011 up to 2013.
Currently He works as Transparency Officer, Mainly dealing on public budget tracking.Taban studied Economics at Catholic University of South Sudan; He studied his higher schools in Uganda.
Taban worked in different projects being carried out by CEPO in 2011 up to 2013.
In late 2013 he managed the Department of Resources and Extractive where it brought together both civil society representatives, Legislatures of Specialized Committees and Ministry of Petroleum to discuss about civil society “UNDERSTANDING THE OIL INDUSTRY OF SOUTH SUDAN” Under the theme “Making the Oil Industry a Blessing to All the Citizens of the Republic of South Sudan”
Taban Julius attended number of training on project cycle management with many donors who funded CEPO projects and being M&E Officer he gained knowledge and skills in project management.Moreso, CEPO has been implementing both livelihood and policy related project which enhance his knowledge and skills further.
