- On 28.12.2016.Juba. SPLA troops conducted a search operation for weapons in the vicinity of the WFP Country Office near Jebel Lodge. Official WFP vehicles were denied movement. A guesthouse occupied by WFP contractors was searched and a Thuraya and Icom radio were located. Despite having proper documentation for the items the soldiers demanded 3000SSP for the return of the items. The money was paid and the property returned. A VHF radio was also confiscated from a private vehicle being driven by a WFP staff member and documentation was demanded to be produced at SPLA HQ prior to releasing the equipment
