Description:
On 9.12.2016. Juba. Country Director of an INGO was expelled from the country after spending more than 24hrs under detention at the NSS headquarters. The reason for the expulsion is unknown at the time of writing. Note: This marks the third reported expulsion of an INGO expat in a senior position within a month and the second case of prolonged detention of a senior INGO worker within the same time frame.
