A boda boda rider sped up and drove his motorcycle straight into a parked INGO vehicle

On 21.11.2016.Juba. A boda boda rider sped up and drove his motorcycle straight into a parked INGO vehicle as one passenger was opening his door in front of the INGO’s office at around 15:00hrs in Hai Jerusalem of Juba. The boda boda rider then claimed that the passenger had caused an accident which resulted in him dropping and damaging his phone. As the boda driver attempted to enter the office compound following one of the passengers, he was denied access by the security guards on duty but became more aggressive and pulled what appeared to be a pistol from his pants. The duty guards managed to restrain the armed man and the private security services’ response team was called for support. The boda rider eventually left the scene. Reports indicate that the boda came from the opposite direction of the INGO vehicle and purposely returned to the parking space after seeing the vehicle pull in which would suggest the incident was staged to extract cash from the passengers.
