Description:
On 13.11.2016. Bentiu. An SPLA checkpoint refused passage to an UNMISS military convoy at around 07:40hrs in Rubkona. The convoy was going to Nhialdu to extract NGO staff stranded in the area due to previously reported clashes between the SPLA and SPLA-IO. Extraction efforts continued today with no success. Media reports suggesting said NGO staff have been abducted are incorrect.
