Description:
4 March, 2015. We have received reports of an illegal checkpoint between Ganje and Jebel Iraq on the Juba Iraq road. The men at the checkpoint were masked and armed with clubs and Kalashnikov's. In one incident the checkpoint stopped a public transport vehicle and searched individuals, taking any cash which they found. The men hid their identities by wearing masks and using gestures rather than speaking.
