On 15.9.2017. Juba. Vehicle travelling to the UN House Protection of Civilians site at UN House was stopped at the recently established check-point by the POC entrance. The check-point demanded fuel (which the NGO had in jerrycans) but intervention from the NGO office and UNMISS resolved the issue. Later, when returning, the drivers were stopped at the check-point by the same men who demanded cash and threatened to lash them. The drivers were eventually allowed to go unharmed with all their belongings.
