Community Empowerment for Progress Organization, CEPO has condemned the recent killings and looting of property by unknown gunmen.

The incidents happen between the border of Eastern and Western Lakes states, Radio Good News Reports. Coordinator Isaac Majier Majok urges the two governments to address the current situation.
 
He believes restoring peace and stability between the two sisterly states will contribute to respect and legacy.
 
Mr Majier urges the two governors to double their efforts to save the hungry and insecure communities from the rampant lawlessness and insecurity.
 
He observes a breakdown of law and order contrary to the agreed Dec 2016 peace and security resolutions between the two states.
 
He believes peace actors are willing to support the government once it shows a political will in restoring peace.
 
Mr Majier wonders why the governors are silent and seat without taking any action to stop the deteriorating situation.
 
An activist also extends his condemnation on the rampant looting of properties and killings within Rumbek town.
