On 29.4.2017.Bentiu. Unity 2 youth gangs reportedly called “Jamaica Boys” and “All Stars”, numbering ‘about 1,000’ armed with spears and machetes fought each other within the PoC. UN Police responded resulting in the youth throwing stones at them. One police officer received a facial injury and one UN vehicle’s windscreen and rear window were broken. Investigations are taking place to ascertain the reason for the fighting.
