Description:
On 22.2.2017. Bentiu. About twenty armed soldiers reportedly from SPLA IO loyal to Taban Deng, abducted two male IDPs close to the southern access control point of the PoC site. Efforts by an UNMISS team to negotiate the release of the two IDPs was unsuccessful. The SPLA IO soldiers tied the hands of the IDPs and took them into the bush.
