Juba, February 13th 2016 Nichola Dominic Madil is the Award winner in the 2016 CEPO Media Award. The Media Award began in 2014 and evolved through a need to recognize and celebrate creativity, innovation and those pushing the bounds of creative excellence in all forms of emerging media. This is to sustain commitment in the profession and encourage reporters to unfold issues affecting the societies of South Sudan.
The Media Award is dedicated to furthering creative excellence in the journalism profession. It administers different distinguished awards for journalists and media house of the year.
Eye Radio is a ‘one stop shop’ where South Sudanese listeners can tune in seven days a week, 24 hours a day and hear local, national and international news and sports, received the Award for the best radio station of the year. Also it's presenter for afternoon show known as Rhumba and Cogolese music Mr. Clement Wani aka DJ Lomisak (DJ Lubelede) was awarded as the best music presenter of the year after several people both in country and in diapora nominated him as the best music presenter.
