On 7.3.2015. An SPLA soldier from Division 6 was shot dead by an unknown armed man about two (2) Km from Lang-Cok military barracks, Malek Payam, Rumbek Center County. The motive of the killing is unknown.
On 11.3.2015. Fire burned to ashes three houses of Holy Family Lainya Parish Fathers’ Quarters in Yei Catholic Diocese at around 2:15 AM on Wednesday, leaving the missionary priests homeless and stranded.
On 3.3.2015. An undisclosed number of cattle were stolen in Ayen Abien Boma, in Turalei Payam, Twic County. The organized forces have since launched a search operation to recover cattle but no results have been registered yet.
On 1.3.2015. A cattle raid took place in Payai, Uror County, Jonglei State. At least 7 people are reported to have been killed as a result of the incident and a significant number of cattle stolen. The perpetrators are currently unknown.
On 26.2.2015. One female Warrior Security Guard was reportedly robbed of her mobile phone and money while on her way to the residence in Melut Town by five (5) unknown persons. Among them two (2) were dressed in military uniform. The victim is unhurt. The case is reported to the Local Police.
