An unknown number of officers of government security services came to an INGO guesthouse

On 7.12.2016. Juba. An unknown number of officers of government security services came to an INGO guesthouse in Tomping at around 13:15hrs and demanded to see the manager and be let inside. They were denied entry and private security services were called to assist. The officers were later persuaded to visit the offices of the INGO. Upon arrival, further discussions suggest that said officers intended to see the compound’s landlord and that there wasn’t any particular issue with the INGO in question. The situation was still developing at the time of writing.
