On 18 February 2015. An unknown person initially suspected to be an SPLA-IO intelligence officer was shot dead by Militia of Ayuok Ogat in Melut Town. However after preliminary investigation by CID team, it was discovered that the victim was a SPLA soldier from 7th Division and not SPLA iO as suspected earlier
