- On 7.2.2018. Yei. At least one civilian was shot dead while two others critically injured when the bus they were travelling in was attacked by armed men along the Yei-Kaya road on Tuesday. Yei River State information minister Alfred Kenneth Duku told Radio Tamazuj on Wednesday that the attackers shot randomly at the bus which was returning from Kaya without a convoy. “The armed men tried to stop the taxi bus but the driver refused to stop and they started shooting at the bus injuring three civilians. Unfortunately, one of the injured persons passed away yesterday at around 5 pm,” he said.
