Armed individuals from Ngok-Dinka of Renk attacked Nuer individuals with small arms fire who were on transit from Khartoum to Nasir in a revenge attack for the cattle raid on 13 January, killing 8 Nuer members and injuring 7 others in melut County, Upper Nile State.
