Description:
- A UN Agency convoy on its way to Palotaka to deliver humanitarian supplies was stopped by a group of youths who demanded for a fee of 7,000 SSP per vehicle onward passage. The mission was aborted, and the incident reported to the County Commissioner. A second attempt was made the next day, but the youths demanded 5,000 SSP per vehicle; subsequently the mission was called off.
