Official. At least two people were killed and two others injured in separate attacks by armed groups in Abiemnhom area of South Sudan’s Ruweng State, a local official said. Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Wednesday, the commissioner of Abiemnhom West County, Michael Malek Yak confirmed that a man was killed and his wife injured during an attack carried out by armed men on Sunday. He said a woman was also killed and another wounded on Monday. "An armed group on Monday at about 8 pm shot two women, killing one woman and wounding another, while a man was killed and his wife injured on Sunday night,” said Malek. He accused elements from neighboring Mayom County in Northern Liech State of alleged involvement in the attacks. Northern Liech State’s security advisor, John Maluk said measures are in place to calm down security situations between both states. These incidents come after soldiers and policemen exchanged fire at a police station in Abiemnhom on Saturday, killing three people.
