At least four senior military officers have been arrested in Pibor County of Boma State for allegedly mobilizing citizens to attack neighbouring communities, the military said. Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Wednesday, the army’s deputy spokesman Santo Domic said the four military officers were arrested in Pibor County on 4th January. “They are accused of mobilizing civilians in the area to launch attacks on neighbouring communities. So the Military Intelligence came in to stop this from continuing,” he said. The army official added, “These people have been brought to Bor and they will be brought to Juba for further investigations. They are facing charges of mobilizing local residents to attack neighbouring communities.” Domic noted that the communities of greater Jonglei have been experiencing insecurity across states borders.A military source in the area identified the arrested army officers as Major General Olerum Ole, Brigadier General Mathew Kudumoch, Brigadier General Korok Zelu and Brigadier General Jowang Anyakganun
