Opposition officials say unidentified armed men on Sunday killed eight civilians in Doma County within the opposition-controlled 'Sobat State', located in Upper Nile region. Yien Puoch Ruot, information minister for the opposition SPLM-IO in Sobate State, told Radio Tamazuj on Monday that eight people were killed and seven others badly injured when armed men attacked the area of Doma. He added that, the attackers torched citizens' houses during the attack. "Many houses have been torched by the attackers. Also, the injured people have been sent to Ulang Hospital for treatment", he said.
