Three people were killed and two others injured on Saturday by unknown gunmen in Wau State, an official has said.
Zacharia Joseph Garang, the deputy governor of Wau State, told Radio Tamazuj on Tuesday that the incident took place in Rochroch Dong. He said the attackers are believed to be armed cattle raiders from neighboring communities and went on to assure the victims that the perpetrators will be brought to book. Joseph pointed out that nobody has been arrested yet.
