Description:
One person has been killed and two others injured in an exchange of gunfire in Mongala County, Jubek State, according to an official.
The state Minister of Local government, Isaac Ribek said armed men clashed with organized forces during the inauguration of the new commissioner of Mongala County, Elario Paul Pataki over the weekend.
It is still not clear why the two sides clashed.
Mr Ribek says the person killed and those injured are all soldiers.
