On 6.3.2017. Wau. Fighting was reported between pastoralists and farmers in the area of Kuwajina and Akwong on the road towards Mapel (east of Wau and towards the border with Warrap state). The road from Wau was closed. SPLA forces were observed mobilising and moving forces towards the area
