Juba 22nd August 2016, South Sudan will mark the first anniversary of the Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in South Sudan that was signed on August 26th 2016. Community Empowerment for Progress Organization appeals to the general public to offer Peace to South Sudan as it marks the first peace anniversary of the peace agreement and urges everyone to light a candle as a sign of offering peace to South Sudan on 26th August 2016.
Mr. Edmund Yakani, Executive Director of CEPO has said demonstrating sign of offering peace to South Sudan is paramount for every South Sudanese.
The culture of resolving political difference violently should be avoided because it offers nothing except human suffering in all forms. 26th August. 2016 should be a day for renewing our pledge for making peace happen in South Sudan at our various capacities. Mr. Yakani stressed
