On 19.9.2016. Juba. A UN Agency truck carrying material for biometric registration was stopped by SSPS officers at the checkpoint outside of the eastern gate of UN House at around 14:00hrs. National staff on board was questioned for approximately 45mins but only allowed to proceed after paying 100SSP. Reports indicate that the staff was told that the materials were going to be used to ‘support the rebels’. A similar incident occurred at this checkpoint on the 17th of September.
