On 27.9.2016.Juba.A policeman, guarding a residential facility in Tongping, shot and killed what he suspected was a potential intruder. It appears the deceased was a member of an SPLA patrol in the area and who was believed to be checking security around the facility. A group of SPLA arrived shortly afterwards and entered the residential facility, ransacking the accommodation, taking documents, money and personal electronic equipment. This may explain in part some of the activity observed and heard in Tongping last night.
