26. On 31.7.2017. Yei. Pastor called Yacoup Nathaniel was also attacked by gunmen at Mission area in Yei town. Another young man called Jimmy Attawa was also attacked and robbed by a group of gunmen on the same night in Yei. Local residents at Jigomoni, Lokumu, Tarawa, Nyakama, Hai Lebben, Guafa and TTC areas complained about the increasing incidents of robbery at night in Yei. Yei River State is one of the administrative units which came into existence in fulfillment of the October 2, 2015, controversial presidential establishment order
