Nine killed, dozens wounded in Lakes state clashes


July 12, 2015 (RUMBEK) - At least nine of people were killed and dozens wounded during inter-clan clashes between the Panyon and Dhiei sections in South Sudan’s Lakes state.

The clashes, according to authorities, were largely part of the continous cycle of revenge.

Jok Ayom Majak, the acting minister of information and communication told Sudan Tribune that security forces were sent to control the clashes in Rumbek East county.
