At least two people including a child have been wounded and two others kidnapped after an armed attack on Apuk South County in Gogrial State by a group of youth on Monday, a local official said. Apuk South County Santino Yel told Radio Tamazuj on Tuesday that the attackers are believed to be from Kuac area. He added that a group of armed youth from Kuac community fell into an ambush by government forces leading to the arrest of 5 youth while the rest escaped. He claimed that the group that escaped went into nearby villages attacking civilians, wounding two including a child.
