On 25.10.2016. Torit. There has been fighting between SPLA-IO and government forces, fighting according to report and confirmed by the office of Governor Natisio Luluke of Eastern Equatoria state. The official from the office of governor Natisio said the two sides clashed on Monday just in the outskirt of the town. He further said two government soldiers were killed in the clashes and some twelve (12) more soldiers were injured. Other source said Monday morning fighting took place just in the outskirt of Torit town, and this has set people into panic, but life has returned to normalcy after the armed opposition forces have decided to retreat voluntarily from the area to their hideout bases in the mountains.
